Palliative & End-Of-Life Support

Whether it is at home, in a hospital, or in a care facility, an End-Of-Life Care consultant or thanadoula can assist you with navigating death and dying in a way that is comfortable and graceful. Journeys can be quick and straightforward or profound and meaningful healing experiences.​​​

Types of Support (Services)

Advanced Care Planning (Virtual)

Once diagnosed with a terminal or irreversible illness, it is advised to plan with decisions that are made with respect to the dying person's values, morals & wishes.

  • Discussing Advanced Medical Directives

  • Education on signs & symptoms of dying

  • Locating legal documents & Palliative Care Planning

  • Burial, Funeral & vigil Planning

    75 Minutes: $80

    In-person travel fee: $30

General Companionship
(for the dying person)

  • Engaging in dialogue, setting up entertainment

  • Environment maintenance, nesting

  • Compassionate touch/light massage

  • Feeding & hygiene

  • Legacy projects (art, letters, events or meetings)

  • Extended presence in active stages of dying​


    4 Hours: $140

Caregiver Respite

For immediate caregivers in times of exhaustion, burnout or overwhelm.

  • Assisting with chores and errands

  • Last-minute watch/visitation of the dying person

  • Child & youth supervision

  • Caregiver’s restorative massage (75 minutes, in-home)

    3 Hours: $140

Grief & Bereavement Support (Virtual)

  • Follow-up visits for close family & friends, valid for one year after the time of death

  • Memorial planning / Organizing

  • Anti-stress massage (valid for 6 months after the loss)

75 Minutes: $110

In-person travel fee: $30

Certification & Training

Certificate of completion for a palliative care volunteer training program awarded to Desiree Raquepo, with logos of The Council on Palliative Care and McGill Palliative Care, and signatures from Linda Crelinsten and Maged Nicolas.
